ConneXions ConneXions trains young women from Kolkata’s slums to produce quality paper crafts like greeting cards and paper gift bags for local and overseas markets. In addition to vocational skills, they learn English, business skills, and ethics. Producing these crafts helps these underprivileged women to work and earn and fair income.

Presently five women work together in a partnership. From the sales of their products they pay for the raw materials, overhead, and their own piecework. If they generate a profit, then they share it equally among themselves.
